Two ways to give that don't start on this page
Some of the easiest gifts to SIDEWAYS begin with your donor-advised fund or your employer's giving portal.
SIDEWAYS is a 501(c)(3) company of paid professional dancers, founded in 2006 and working in North Metro Atlanta ever since. 105 performances. 65+ dancers employed. This is our 20th season, and gifts made either way count toward 20K for 20 Years.
Donor-Advised Funds
If you have a DAF, you can recommend a grant to SIDEWAYS Contemporary Dance Theater. Most sponsors have a grant form on their site, and it takes a few minutes.

Not sure what to designate it toward? Friends of SIDEWAYS levels start at $100, and each one is about who else gets into the room:
- $100 brings a teaching artist in for a workshop for students with disabilities.
- $500 puts 20 kids in the theater for Once Upon A Holiday.
- $1,000 is the theater rental for Day of Dance, which is free to the community.
Some sponsors send grants anonymously unless you choose to share your name. If you'd like to be recognized as a Friend of SIDEWAYS, email charlotte@sidewaysdance.com after you submit and we'll make sure it's noted.
Employer Gift Matching
Many employers match what their employees give to nonprofits, often dollar for dollar. Some do more.
That $500 becomes $1,000, which is the theater rental for Day of Dance.
To find out if your company matches, check your giving portal or ask HR. Search for SIDEWAYS Contemporary Dance Theater or use our EIN (51-0589165). Most programs want the match request submitted after you give, so hang on to your receipt.
