SIDEWAYS IS LOOKING FOR THE NEXT EMERGING ARTIST!
SIDEWAYS highlights one emerging choreographer each season in its annual repertory showcase. Chosen applicant will have the opportunity to work with the dancers of SIDEWAYS, will be promoted on the SIDEWAYS website as an emerging dance artist, and will have their work presented at BLACKOUT, June 22-24.
Interested applicants should submit a one-page proposal of their work outlining the concept, a sample of proposed movement vocabulary or phrases to be used in piece, and a choreography resume including video sample of previous choreography experience.
Applications must be received by March 1st, 2012.
